In 2021, Cambridge University Press and Cambridge Assessment (formerly The University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES)) came together to form Cambridge University Press & Assessment. For certifying statements issued for exams taken before March 2024, the explanatory text on the back cover will reference UCLES. For certifying statements issued for exams taken from March 2024 onwards, the explanatory text on the back cover will reference Cambridge University Press & Assessment.

Certifying statements with either reference in the explanatory text are valid.

By applying online you confirm that the following applies to you:

You are a Cambridge International Education candidate who requires an official document from us to show the grades you achieved in a particular exam series.

and/or

You are a Cambridge International Education candidate who needs a notary public to authenticate your results.

Please note:

You can only apply for a certifying statement once you have received your certificate.
Current series must be requested using the Priority Results service.
It is important you check that your exams were conducted by Cambridge International Education before you apply.

We charge for issuing certifying statements, so you will need a method of payment (a credit or debit card).

To complete your application we will require identification which shows your name and date of birth. Please have this ready before you start the application.

Acceptable forms of identification are:

A scanned copy of your birth certificate
A scanned copy of the appropriate pages of your passport or identity card
A scanned copy of your driving licence

Candidate identification must be in English.

Conditions of Sale

The Conditions of Sale apply if you buy something from this Site. For any purchase from this site, the following additional special terms apply:

Delivery: We will aim to deliver certifying statements purchased within 28 days after the day on which we accept your order. If you require authentication by a notary public the delivery may take longer than 28 days.

Payment: We do not accept payment by American Express.

Cancelling your order: You may cancel your order within 14 days of us accepting your order. Please note that once we have accepted your order, your payment is not refundable as the services we provide of searching for your qualification result may commence immediately. We may refund the delivery cost if we have not yet dispatched your order.

Cambridge International Education Centres may pay by invoice utilising the downloadable form.

Please provide as much information as possible to avoid delays in processing your application.

The Search Fee is charged at £58.70 and includes the cost of producing one copy of the certifying statement; all additional copies of the certifying statement cost £16.30 each.
If a result cannot be found one charge of £58.70 will apply; we will refund the delivery fee paid and any fees charged for any additional copies requested.
If a candidate has sat more than one type of qualification (e.g. Cambridge IGCSE and GCE O Level) at a centre in the same exam series, you must list each qualification type on your order. We issue each qualification type on its own certifying statement and will therefore calculate this as a separate document on the final payment breakdown. We will only issue certifying statements for the qualification type(s) on your order. If you want to make a request for extra qualifications after we have completed your order, you must submit another application and quote the previous reference number in the application delivery notes section.
